Damon Braces
Here at Braces n Faces we use Damon brackets; these brackets are self-ligating brackets with a reflexive no-rubber system allowing ease of movement. This system of braces is quicker than most conventional braces. Damon Braces help to create your beautiful, broader and healthier smile.

Spark Aligners

We use a clear aligner system from Ormco called “Spark Aligners”. These are very similar to invisalign and achieve the same high level of results. A treatment plan will consist of a series of individually tailored aligners that sequentially align the teeth. The advantages of these over braces include freedom to maintain normal eating and oral hygiene without brackets getting in the way.
Laser
Here at Braces n Faces we are fortunate enough to be able to provide laser treatments to those who need it. These treatments are tongue and lip ties, periodontal disease, exposing unerupted teeth and many more.
Orofacial Myology
We offer Orofacial Myology Therapy to patients who will be undergoing laser treatment for their tongue ties. This is comprised of 6x 45-minute sessions with our Oral Health Therapist, Allana. Each session will involve learning various tongue exercises to assist stabilisation of the treated area, as well as improve oral awareness.
Oral Health
A professional check-up & clean is recommended to patients every 6-12 months. This service is designed to remove plaque and calculus that is unable to be removed with normal everyday brushing at home as well as checking your overall oral health.
Retainers
Essix Retainers are made here at the clinic. The patient will need a 3D scan of their teeth taken, this is followed by printing the scan as a 3D model and creating the retainers.
Retainers are printed and made within 24 hours of your appointment.
Teeth Whitening
At Braces n Faces we use Pola Rapid Whitening. You can do this in the chair with our OHT or you can purchase a take-home whitening kit to do in the comfort of your own home, for this you will also need to purchase whitening trays which are customised for your teeth for optimal results. Twin Block Appliance
The Twin Block is a removable appliance used to align the upper & lower jaws of growing children. This allows the upper & lower jaws to align in perfect occlusion.
Herbst Appliance
The Herbst is a fixed appliance that is used to improve the jaw growth modification relationship between the upper and lower jaw. It can prevent surgery and/or extractions in some patients.
RME Appliance
The RME (Rapid Maxillary Expansion) is a fixed appliance that is used to widen your palate and can assist in opening your airway. The RME is made to fit each patient individually using a 3D scan.
URA
A URA (Upper Removable Appliance) can be used to correct minor orthodontic issues such as crossbites, narrow arches and small movements of individual teeth.
Holding Arch
The holding arch is a space maintaining appliance. The purpose of this appliance is to prevent relapse of any teeth moving after treatment before the next phase of treatment.
Motion Appliance

The Motion Appliance improves upper and lower jaw relationship by using orthodontic elastic bands and a clear retainer to move the jaw in either a forwards or backwards motion.

The motion appliance is usually a first phase treatment used prior to braces or aligners.

Thumb Deterrent
The Thumb Deterrent is a fixed appliance that prevents the placement of the thumb into the mouth.
