Your First Visit
YOUR CONSULTATION VISIT IS FREE! That’s right – At Braces ‘n’ Faces, there is absolutely no cost for your first visit with us. At your consultation visit, we will have a look in your mouth (no needles, no drills and NO PAIN!), assess x-rays of your teeth and note our observations.
Based on your chief concerns and the observations made, we will then determine if you and/or your child requires orthodontics and what avenue of treatment is appropriate for your case. From here, you will be presented with the following information:
- What type of orthodontic services are required;
- Why you require the services suggested;
- How long the treatment will take to complete; and
- How much treatment will cost.
Having been presented with this knowledge, you can then make an informed decision about starting treatment. Your consultation visit is obligation free and you are welcome to go away and discuss your options without any further bookings or hidden costs.

Dealing With Health Funds
For anyone who has had to deal with private health fund companies in the past, you may have noticed that getting your questions answered is no easy task! For many people, private health funds seem to be a confusing maze of automated prompts, hold messages and department transfers. The key – asking the right questions!
In order for us to tailor your contract to best suit you, we require three simple answers from your health fund:
- What is your life-time limit on orthodontics;
- How much can you claim each year; and
- Are claims paid on a financial or calendar year basis?
Knowing these three, simple answers prior to commencement of treatment will mean that our staff can make sure you get the maximum amount of money back from your health fund!
